A Star is Born!

So, before I tell you about Grace's first school musical, I just wanted to let you know that the high temperature was 102 degrees today. Ah, spring is here. As you all are enjoying your lovely 65-70 degree warm-up, think of us sweating just as we walk to the car. At least it's not that humid yet.

Yes, Grace was in the TAISM Elementary School musical called "A Dragon Tale." She had several speaking parts and singing solos. She had a great time and we were really proud of all her hard work. The play was quite funny and really amazing to see so many 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders up on stage singing and dancing in addition to acting. You won't be surprised to hear that the director put Grace front and center during the dance sequences because she didn't miss a step and was a great leader for the group. She really took her role seriously and was a treat to watch!

We'll have the DVD soon, and will most likely upload it and share some key parts.

Oh, and Nick will have everyone know that he has a part in the second grade mini-musical called "Seussical Junior." Those performances are Tuesday and Wednesday, and we'll do our best to document them. Seems like the Pattarinis are developing some acting skills to make Danny proud. Anyone surprised by how dramatic our children are?
