Big news yesterday and today was the 10% chance of rain in the forecast! That's huge, people! The news reports yesterday recognized the chance of rain and then told people not to panic. Rain here usually means serious flooding, and, as a result, even worse driving than normal. It's kind of like the Washington, D.C. area when there is an inch of snow on the ground. People go nuts! Anyway. It didn't rain this time, but we've been promised that it will rain once or twice in January and February. Actually looking forward to that. (I'm sure you're all sick of rain there in the Mid-Atlantic.)
The skies were mostly cloudy both today and yesterday, with the high being about 78 degrees. There was a really nice breeze, about 5 miles per hour, and when the sun went down, the temperature fell to around 72. Just delightful. The rest of the week and weekend looks to be about the same--good news for the mid-day soccer games tomorrow.
We're in full countdown for our return to the States. We leave here in just 17 days. Can't wait to see everyone!
