Weather Wednesday

Well, after 3 days of rain, it's finally sunny. While there are still some clouds that threaten a rain here and there, we're in the the clear for now. The rain we had did quite a bit of damage to the roads and filled up many of the wadis. The traffic was insane and has almost earned itself it's own blog post.

The high temperatures will be in the high 70s and the lows in the mid-60s. Lovely, lovely weather that we will be leaving in 2 short days for the wonderful winter wonderlands in VA and MD. I'm looking through all the kids' clothes, hoping to find pants that don't go up to their shins and long sleeve shirts that don't stop at the elbows. We should be okay--nothing that a much-desired trip to Target won't cure.

We look forward to seeing many of you State-side!

  1. Well, you're coming home to our first major Winter Snow Storm Warning of the season, with 5-10 inches predicted for Saturday! Bring your woolies! Can't wait to see you at Grace, inshallah, and hear about Muscat.
